SCIC is the abbreviation for State Capital Investment Corporation (State Capital Investment Corporation). Established in 2005, SCIC is a new model of state capital management and investment in businesses through an economic organization in Vietnam. SCIC is the representative of state capital ownership in enterprises, making investments in projects, enterprises in key industries and fields and strategies of the country. SCIC currently has more than 500 enterprises in the portfolio and is increasingly proving a particularly important role in the development of Vietnam's investment and financial markets. SCIC is an annual scholarship program of SCIC for students from some universities specializing in economics, finance and banking.
