Mr. Tran Van Ta was approved by the Prime Minister and appointed by SCIC's Chairman of the Board of Directors to the position of General Director of SCIC iat January 1, 2008. Mr. Ta held the position of Deputy Minister of Finance for 10 years, 5 years of which as Permanent Deputy Minister. Mr. Ta held the position of General Director and member of SCIC's Board of Directors from January 1, 2008 to October 1, 2010.

Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue was appointed by the Prime Minister to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of State Capital Investment Corporation in September 2011. Mr. Hue used to be the State General Auditor, the Minister of Finance and is currently the Secretary of Party Committee of Hanoi City. Mr. Hue held the position of Chairman of the Board of SCIC from September 1, 2011 to July 26, 2013.

Previously, Mr. Dao was the Standing Deputy General Director of Vietnam Development Bank, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Development Aid . Mr. Dao used to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Finance and Banking Department, Ministry of Finance, and Deputy Director of the General Department of Enterprise Management, Ministry of Finance. He was also a lecturer at Hanoi University of Finance and Accounting
