SCIC classifies the enterprises under two categories of group A (retained), B (flexible) based on the following criteria:
Group A is a group of enterprises that are in the Corporation's long-term holding and investment strategy and enterprises must temporarily hold capital according to the Prime Minister's regulations, including:
A1 - Businesses will be actively retained by the Corporation for long-term investment;
A2 - Enterprises The Corporation holds 100% capital; have dominant shares and contributed capital; equitize under the direction of the Prime Minister;
Group B is a group of flexible investment enterprises of the Corporation, including:
B1 - Enterprises need to restructure to improve the value of invested capital before selling out capital. Firms of this group may also consider maintaining their percentage of ownership or additional investment if it is effective before selling;
B2 - Businesses need to deploy selling capital right away. Including all remaining enterprises not in groups A and B1
