RDIF

In May 2016, SCIC and RDIF signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a foundation for cooperation between the two sides as well as promote business and investment relations between Vietnam and the Russian Federation. After signing the MOU, the two sides regularly share and exchange investment opportunities in Vietnam as well as in the Russian Federation. However, due to different investment criteria, the two sides have not carried out any investment activities. In 2020-2021, in the face of the great influence of the COVID-19 pandemic, SCIC and RDIF actively discussed cooperation opportunities in the field of pharmaceuticals related to COVID-19 produced by the Russian Federation.
