SCIC meets with Polish Development Fund during Prime Minister’s official visit to Poland

WARSAW, Poland, January 17, 2025 - A delegation from the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) held a working session with the Polish Development Fund (PFR) in Warsaw, Poland, as part of Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính’s official visit to the country.
Representing SCIC were Mr. Nguyễn Chí Thành, Chairman of the Board of Members; Mr. Mai Quốc Vương, Deputy General Director; and accompanying officials. The PFR delegation included Mr. Piotr Matczuk, President of the Management Board; Mr. Mikołaj Raczyński, Vice President; and colleagues.

During the meeting, SCIC and PFR shared experiences and exchanged views on economic and investment cooperation opportunities to strengthen bilateral relations between Poland and Viet Nam. The SCIC delegation highlighted investment prospects in Viet Nam and discussed measures to support Polish businesses in expanding operations into the Vietnamese market—a rapidly growing and high-potential economy. Viet Nam, positioned as a key economic partner of Poland in Southeast Asia, continues to affirm its stable business environment and potential in strategic industries.
The meeting also commemorated the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Poland and Viet Nam.
Concluding the session, SCIC Chairman Nguyễn Chí Thành thanked PFR Management Board President Piotr Matczuk and extended an invitation to PFR to visit and collaborate at SCIC’s headquarters in Hanoi, Viet Nam.
