SCIC awarded gifts to families of children with difficulty and doctors of the National Pediatric Hospital

Implementing the social security sponsorship program in 2021, on the morning of March 18 at the National Pediatric Hospital, the State Capital Investment Corporation awarded 50 families of children with difficult circumstances those are being treated at the hospital. Each family received 2 million VND through the payment of deposit for hospital fees. At the same time, the Corporation also awarded to the Hospital 500 helmets for splashing drops and 6,000 medical caps. Total value of the sponsorship package is 113.5 million VND, deducted from the welfare and contributions fund of SCIC.

Attending the ceremony, on SCIC's side, there were Mr. Dinh Viet Tung - Deputy General Director, Chairman of SCIC’s Trade Union and representatives of Trade Union, Youth Union. On the hospital’s side, there were MSc, Dr. Trinh Ngoc Hai - Deputy Director of the hospital, representatives of Social Work Division and 50 families of children with difficult circumstances who are being treated

On behalf of the SCIC awarding the sponsorships to families of children and doctors of the hospital, Mr. Dinh Viet Tung said that during the past 16 years of operation, social security programme is always a concern to the Board of Management and the SCIC staff as a whole. The Corporation is always one of the leading units, performing this work actively, comprehensively, regularly and continuously in order to ensure the highest efficiency and reaching the right people need to be helped. Today's gifts from the SCIC to families of disadvantaged children and to the hospital demonstrate the SCIC's spirit and responsibility joining the community in social security work, contributing to the implementation of a policy of comprehensive attention, improving the quality of life for people and ensuring social security which is one of the Party and State's sustainable development goals.

In response, MSc, Dr. Trinh Ngoc Hai - Deputy Director of the Hospital sincerely thanks the Corporation and all SCIC staff for their attention and sharing to families of children with difficult circumstances as well as to the doctors and employees of the hospital. The Corporation's gift not only has practical meaning to patients’ families but also has a great motivating meaning for the team of nurses and doctors who are doing their best day and night in treatment in taking care of the children

Up to now, after 16 years of establishment and operation, State Capital Investment Corporation has contributed more than 42 billion VND to sponsor social welfare programs, including houses of gratitude, house for the poor, social houses in the mountainous and remote provinces, school building aids, poor students scholarships to overcome difficulties ..., sponsoring cancer patients, heart and fatal diseases, overcoming consequences of natural disasters, floods ... and 30A programme of the Government.
