Transfer of the right to represent the ownership of state capital at the Transport Hospital to SCIC

To implement the notification of the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh on the transfer of the right to represent the state owner at the Transport Hospital Joint Stock Company to SCIC in Official Letter No. 248/VPCP- DMDN dated July 23, 2020 of the Government Office, on December 31, 2020, the Ministry of Transport and SCIC signed the Minutes of transfer of the right to represent the state owner at the Transport Hospital.
On January 20, 2021 in Hanoi, the Ministry of Transport and the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) held a ceremony to announce the transfer of the right to represent the ownership of state capital at the Transport Hospitalto SCIC.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Le Anh Tuan - Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Transport; Mr. Pham Tuan Anh - Directorof General Department of Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises; Mr. Dinh Viet Tung - Deputy General Director of SCIC and representatives from units of the Ministry of Transport, Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises and SCIC.
According to the signed Minutes, the value of state capital at the Transport Hospital transferred to SCIC is VND 278,443,707,823, equivalent to 71.13% of charter capital.

The Transport Hospital was established in 1955 with the precursor as Railway Hospital, level 3, with 80 beds in scale and the initial tasks of health care, emergency and treatment for employees working in railway industry and train passengers.
The hospital has gone through all stages of its formation and development for more than 50 years. The Transport Hospital is the first public non-business unit under the Ministry of Transport selected to pilot equitization under Decision No. 1129/ QD-TTg dated July 21, 2015 of Prime Minister. The Transport Hospital Joint Stock Company (referred to as the Transport Hospital) has officially operated under the model of a joint stock company since January 5, 2016 /.
