Selection of Advisor for the Divestment of 9% of Vinamilk’s Charter Capital under SCIC’s ownership
Pursuant to the Government’s guidelines on the divestment of 9% of Vinamilk's charter capital under SCIC’s ownership, after reporting to the Ministry of Finance, SCIC has selected the Consortium Advisors comprising Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) Limited (“Morgan Stanley”), Saigon Securities JSC (“SSI”), VinaCapital Corporate Finance Vietnam Ltd. (“VinaCapital”), whereas Morgan Stanley is the Lead Advisor.
The selection of the Consortium Advisors is performed in compliance with the Law on Tendering.
The Consortium Advisors will advise SCIC on the overall divestment plan,determine the minimum selling price, advise SCIC on the plan for international and local roadshows, and executerelated procedures to organize the divestment process.
On October 5th 2016, SCIC signed the financial advisory agreement with the Consortium Advisors.
The Consortium Advisors consisting of reputable local and overseas financial institutions will ensure the publicity, transparency, efficiency and avoidance of group interestin the divestment of state shares at Vinamilk in accordance tothe Government’s guidelines.
