Hochiminh city and Hanoi, May 5/6, 2010 -- VietNam Holding Limited (VNH) and the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) jointly host the workshop on “the value of long-term Investor Relations in Vietnam”.  

This workshop is aimed at assisting affiliate companies of Vietnam Holding and SCIC, both listed ones and those that are planning an IPO, with the Investor Relations (IR) strategy. Disclosure practices and how to apply communications to attract investors’ attention and create a strong market positions are also addressed in this event.

Around 100 representatives and senior executives from VH and SCIC’s linked companies attended this workshop. Keynote speakers of the workshop are Erik Floyd of the Association for Sustainable and Responsible Investment in Asia and Mr. Vo Huu Tuan, Deputy CEO of Bao Viet Securities Company.

The VNH seminar is an integrated part of commitment between SCIC and VH to assist the development of their investee companies in Vietnam. It provides an opportunity for companies to gain new perspectives and exchange ideas, and to identify an improve strategies for sustainable business success. 

Previously, in 2008 and 2009, SCIC and VH successfully held various workshops on corporate governance such as “Management of Strategy Planning”, “Management via Board of Directors”…which drew the investors and companies’ attention.
